Skillful craftsmanship, respect for wood, and passion for a trade so long to learn--this is the commitment I bring to each day, to each project in my shop.

In creating beautiful, simple forms with clean lines to enrich the spaces we accupy in our daily lives, my contemporary designs are inspired by different periods and styles. The early "Arts and Crafts" mouvement and the simplicity of Japanes woodworking with its zen qualities are especially strong influences.

In my profound appreciation for wood with its distinctive colors and grains, I choose not to use stains on my pieces. Rather, I aim to reveal the inherent beauty of the wood, its natural features inspiring endless design possibilities.

This passion for wood, my dedication to the craft of fine-woodworking, and a soulful approach to our living spaces are evoked in each project I undertake.
